LGBTQ+ Resource Center Presents: The Death and Life of Marsha P. Johnson In-Person
The Newark Public Library LGBTQ+ Resource Center will host a film screening of The Death and Life of Marsha P. Johnson (2017). Popcorn and soda will be provided at the event.
About the film: From David France, the Academy Award-nominated director of How to Survive a Plague, the film examines the legendary, revolutionary life and mysterious death of transgender activist and icon Marsha P. Johnson, It includes archival interviews with Johnson, and new interviews with Johnson's family, friends and fellow activists.
