"I Want to See You Live": An Overdose Prevention Workshop for the Community In-Person
All over the city of Newark there are overdoses--fatal and non-fatal--on a daily basis. The Newark Community Street Team - Overdose Response Team (NCST-ORT) is out in the field and knows what's going on. The key to preventing overdoses and deaths, the key to "seeing people live" is Narcan/Naloxone education and training. The importance of both having access to Narcan and knowing what to do in response to an Overdose is crucial. Participants will learn about the importance of naloxone in preventing overdose deaths and how to administer it in an emergency.
This event is for all who consider themselves human.
Please join us for this essential workshop.
