On Wednesday, June 12th at 5:30 PM in the James Brown African American Room, we will be hosting a screening of the PBS documentary How It Feels to Be Free. The film showcases the journeys of six pioneering figures: Lena Horne, Abbey Lincoln, Diahann Carroll, Nina Simone, Cicely Tyson, and Pam Grier.
