Application Assistance: State Rental Assistance Program (SRAP) In-Person
The NJ SRAP is a state funded program that provides housing subsidies to very low-income NJ residents. To obtain more information regarding eligibility and groups that will be given preference, please visit: DCA State Rental Assistance Program
The Newark Public Library's Social Work Services office is available to provide support with filling out the online SRAP pre-application. Visit our office, located on the 1st floor, if you are in need of application assistance.
Information Required: Names, social security numbers, birthdates and income information for all individuals living in the household. An email address is required. If you do not have an email, the pre-application process will allow you to create one.
