Chair Yoga In-Person
Begin 2026 in the right seat with chair yoga! For less active individuals, older adults, or those with limited mobility, this yoga class will help you achieve your new year goals and feel refreshed and renewed. Instructor Joni Wellness, a yogi teacher with decades of experience, presents classical yoga with chair adaptations of traditional postures.
Chairs provided by the library. Straps or belts provided by the instructor.
Registration highly encouraged.
Chair Yoga class to be followed by mat yoga class.Both classes provide opportunity for experiential learning of classical yoga philosophy (e.g., non-violence, tolerance, self-study) through exploration of yoga postures. Detailed instruction with component breakdown of postures supporting strength, mobility, mindfulness, self-study, stress reduction, healing and transformation.
