Social Work Drop-In Hours In-Person
Meet with our Social Work Interns during our office drop-in hours every Saturday from 9:30am - 3pm. No appointment needed. Meeting times are limited to 30 minutes, and may require a scheduled follow-up appointment, depending on your needs.
Drop-in hours are ideal for anyone who does not have a phone, email address, or way to be contacted. Should you require or desire more than 30 minutes, please contact the office at 973-803-2241 or email socialwork@npl.org
The Library's Social Work Services team can assist you with the following:
-Finding and navigating city, county, state, and federal resources
-Applying for social service programs (SNAP, Medicaid, Unemployment Insurance, etc)
-Accessing Mental Health support
-and more.
